POST 2: My Life Soundtrack

All my life I have listened to music, it's something  I can't  avoid. My family listens to music,  for everything they do. It is for this that I listen to music all day and every day. When I was little,  I had two cassettes the first contained Christmas carols and the other one contained children's music such as the song of the elephants that swayed or 31 minutos. I listen to the cassettes every day and my family was bored of that many repetitions haha.
That accompanied me until I was approximately 6 years old, since for Christmas 2005 they gave me a personal CD player with an album by Kudai, the band of the moment in Chile. However, that wasn't just the music I liked to listen to.

My family was very diverse musically and in my city it is very common to listen to Andean music and cumbias, so later they gave me a pirate CD with all that music, so I listened to Kudai's album and then my album with music by Los Jaivas, Los Kjarkas , Los Maravillosos and many more bands. Even so, Kudai was my favorite band, what's more, when we traveled with my parents, Kudai was our company throughout the entire route.

As I grew older, my musical diversity grew with me, Kudai's Latin rock-pop joined the reggaeton I began to listen to Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Arcangel and other singers of the genre, in fact when I was 11 years old I went to the concert of Daddy Yankee in Iquique (the city where I live) and I loved listening to reggaeton on the radio we had at home on pendrives that contained music downloaded from Ares, the program to download music from internet illegally.

At the age of 13 my music spectrum kept growing, I also discover  many latin composers, the Grunge, Indie music and the North American and British rock-pop. My favourite musicians and bands at that time were Ana Tijoux, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Coldplay and Capital Cities. In fact, at the age of 15 I went to Lollapalooza with my father and I think that expanded all my musical horizons. I discover the electronic music, Trap music and many more musical genres.

Today I listen a lot of music, I love Chilean rap, the reggaeton, the cumbia, the rock, or wathever, I feel that the music depends on my mood of the day, so that I don't know which is my favourite band or musician, but if I have to choose my musical mood for today, I choose Chilean Music. In fact, at this moment I am listening to Bronko Yotte, a Chilean rapper, and tomorrow I am going to wake up listening to Bad Bunny a reggaeton singer.
